Tunga Nutrition Uganda, the manufacturer of the best quality farm feeds, has launched its feeds mill in Ntinda, Kampala. Frank Tumwebaze, the Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry & Fisheries, presided over the launch.
Tumwebaze said the government is pushing for manufacturers like Tunga Nutrition who produce results backed by innovation and science because it makes it easier for Ugandans, young and old, to continue being a part of agriculture.
Samuel Mugasi, Executive Director of National Agricultural Advisory Services, noted that one of the biggest challenges farmers face is the fluctuating price of feeds. He said that when the price of maize goes up, the price of feeds also shoots up, creating a loss for the farmers.
The General Manager of Tunga Nutrition Uganda, Toochukwu Chido, said their purpose is to ‘feed the future’ by providing farmers a range of products and services. Tunga Nutrition Uganda offers agriculture solutions ranging from concentrates, complete feed, and minerals.
