The husband of Judith Tukamuhabwa, the woman with whom former Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Stanley Ntagali, committed adultery with, Rev. Christoper Tugumehabwe is demanding financial compensation well over Shs500, court papers reveal.
Tugumehabwe, accuses Ntagali of committing adultery and siring a child with his married wife Judith and because of this hideous relationship, he lost job at Bishop Barham University College (BBUC) in Kigezi.
Through his lawyers at Bikangiso & Company Advocates, Tugumehabwe accuses Ntagali of advising Tukamuhabwa to file for divorce citing cruelty.
“Your unbecoming, sinful, and unlawful conducts have occasioned on our client general damages to wit - loss of dignity, marriage breakdown, stress, trauma, embarrassment, loss of privacy, loss of his job as a lecturer at Bishop Bahram University College and minimal chances of rising in the clergy ranks." the lawyers note.
Tugumehabwe officially married Judith in church on December 15, 2018 but the marriage didn’t thrive to celebrate a second anniversary as the couple divorced before Kabale Chief Magistrate's court on December 8, 2020.
